Someone I deeply care about is going through a tough time. And I remembered that I wrote this song.
This was originally recorded with Thiago’s vocals, but this was my demo. I wrote this song in 2019 hoping people will realize we all have hidden strengths in ourselves and get back up.
What I failed to mention was that sometimes you have to walk away before you get hurt. But it’s true. It’s ok to just leave. Confronting isn’t always the best way. Some people stick it out until they break. But that can have some lasting negative impact. And nothing is worth that. Don’t wait until you’re broken. Choosing to leave whatever is stressing you out is another way to protect yourself. People often underestimate the impact on their mental wellbeing.
